Before I start I just want to say I’m sorry for the horrible pictures!
This month I really got into Korean skincare and makeup however I haven’t used any of them long enough for them to appear in my favourites.
As far as March’s go, it’s been a pretty good March. I tried some new brands out that I haven’t tried before and I finally got my skin in good shape. Let’s take a look at some of my favourites…
First up, NYX’s soft matte lip creams. For someone who loves the matte look but has cracked, dry lips, these are perfect. They feel buttery on the lips and are super pigmented, however when you’ve had them on for a while they feel quite dry. A quick touch up sorts this right out though. They retail at Boots for £5.50

Another from NYX is their Dewy Finish Long Lasting setting spray. This works well both beneath makeup to give more of a natural glow or on top of makeup to really make that highlight pop. It keeps my makeup on for around 5-6 hours before it starts to wear off, it gives enough shine for a dewy look but not too much that it makes you look oily. I’d recommend this for people with any skin type except oily as it can sometimes over exaggerate the oil that’s already on your face. It retails for £7 at Boots.
I am a huge lover of perfume and when I smelt this beauty I couldn’t leave it on the shelf. This is Romance from Ralph Lauren. It’s quite a mature smell, more musky than fruity or flowery. Now that we’re getting closer to Summer I’ll probably switch this out for more of a light and airy fragrance, this is a Autumnal/Wintery smell. This bottle is 50ml and can be found at The Perfume Shop for £55.
Eylure. Possibly one of my favourite eyelash brands here in the UK. I usually only use number 124 however these beautiful two caught my eye. I love huge eyelashes, they complete a look. These can be found at Boots for under £10.
When it gets colder in the UK, my hands really suffer from dryness so I need something that’s thick and luxurious to combat that and these are the perfect things to do that. They’re buttery, smell beautiful and most important of all, they work. My hands have never been in better shape. These can be bought from the Bath & Body Works shop online for $6 however they do not ship to all parts of the world. Check the website to find out if they ship to you.
My last favourite from March is Benefit’s Goof Proof Brow Pencil (I took this picture upside down, oops). I enjoy more of a natural, subtle way to fill my eyebrows in and this is the perfect thing for that. The tip of the pencil is angled meaning you can really get the shape that you want with ease. I pair this with their Ready, Set, Brow! Brow gel for lasting effect.
I’m still getting used to blogging daily so please excuse me for my lame blog posts. I promise to get better.
Bye for now!~^^~
